아홉 살 현서는 항상 같은 곳에서 담배를 피우던 옆집 할아버지가 사라지고, 낯선 아저씨가 아파트 정원에 무언가를 파묻기 시작하는 것을 보게 된다. 아무도 그 일들에 관심이 없는 것처럼 보이지만, 곧 아파트 정원에서 악취가 진동하기 시작한다.

A nine-year-old boy notices that his old neighbor, who always smokes in the same place, has disappeared and that a strange man has started digging in the garden of his apartment. No one but the boy seems to be interested in what is going on, but soon a foul smell begins to emanate from the garden.
