엄마에게서 어떻게든 독립을 하고자 돈이 필요한 주희는 서울에 혼자 살며 여러 일들을 전전한다. 그러던 어느날 큰 일당을 받고 가게 된 일터가 조류들을 살처분하는 현장이라는 것을 알게 된다.

Ju-hee needs money to move away from her hometown and take care of herself, so she lives alone in Seoul and takes odd jobs. When she is offered a new job that pays well, she discovers that it is at a place where they slaughter birds. The film revolves around the 1980 massacre by the military regime in Gwangju and the younger generation trying to move on from this history.
