천재 영화 감독 선호는 흠모하는 여배우 초롱에게 러브레터를 건네며 출연 제의를 한다. 하지만 국민배우를 꿈꾸는 초롱은 시나리오가 난해하다는 이유로 거절한다. 이에 선호는 대중성을 위해 자신의 걸작을 고치기 시작한다.

Mr. director had proposed cast to Cho-rong with love letter containing film script. However Cho-rong shot a gun against him as well as refused him. This is because the script was too knotty while she always dreams to be a famous star. Mr. director starts to revise his masterpiece to have popular appeal.
