2072년, 구식은 홀로 외롭게 살아가고 있다. TV를 통해 아내형 안드로이드 D-24의 광고를 접한 구식은 자신의 고독을 해소해 줄 구원의 빛이라 여기고 구매를 결심하게 된다. 그리고 24일 후, 손꼽아 기다리던 D-24가 도착한다.

It is year 2072. Advertisement for an Android D-24, a robot wife, catches the attention of a solitary man. Believing D-24 will lighten up his life and console his solitude, the man decides to buy the android. After long 24 days crossed out day by day, the robot wife is finally delivered.
