오랜 친구 사이인 12살 해수와 선. 선은 언제나 스스로 선택을 하지 못한채 해수가 시키는대로만 지내왔다. 하지만 해수가 곧 미국으로 이민을 간다는 것을 알게 되자 선은 혼란에 빠진다. 그리고 그 날, 뒷산 깊은 곳에 난 구덩이에 해수가 빠지게 된다.

Sun and Haesu, both 12 years old, have been close friends for a long time. Sun has always struggled to make her own decisions and tends to do what Haesu suggests. When Sun learns that Haesu is moving to the United States, she feels devastated. On the same day, Haesu falls into a deep pit in the woods near her home.
