<선의 기억 An Antique Shopkeeper>

고미술상가 주인인 다영은 한적한 상점 문을 열고 누군가를 기다리고 있다. 가게를 물려주었던 전 주인 아버지와의 기억 속에, 가게를 정리하기로 했던 다영의 마음은 복잡해진다. 가게 안의 골동품들과 함께 섞여있는 기억들과 함께 고미술상가의 하루는 점차 저물어간다. 동대문문화재단의 지원으로 제작된 단편 <심심상인>을 좀 더 확장해 완성한 작품으로, 많은 독립장단편영화의 촬영감독으로 활동하며 2023년 서울독립영화제에서 촬영감독조합상을 받았던 김지룡 감독의 세 번째 연출작.

Dayoung, an antique art dealer, waits for someone at the door of her unfrequented shop. The memories of her father, the former owner, complicate Dayoung’s decision to close down the shop. The antique dealer’s day gradually draws to an end, and her memories mingle with the antiques in the shop. The film, supported by the Dongdaemun Foundation for Arts and Culture, is an extension of the short film SIMSIMSANG-IN, which brought Dapsimni, a neighborhood of antique dealers, to the screen. It is the third directorial work of director KIM Ji-yong, who has worked as a cinematographer for many Korean independent films and won the Cinematographers Guild of Korea’s Best Cinematography Award in 2023.
