평생을 근무해 온 조용한 시골마을에서 반나절 뒤 퇴직을 앞둔 파출소장. 경찰 생활을 같이 해왔던 오래된 자동차 갤로퍼를 폐차하러 가는 길에 우연히 마을을 시끄럽게 한 연쇄 절도범 차량을 마주친다.

“Galloper” is the name of an SUV that Hyundai launched in 1991. At the time, it was the favorite of many Korean men, and the last one was produced in 2003.

In a quiet rural town where he has worked all his life, a police chief is due to retire in half a day. On his way to scrap his old Galloper, a car that has served him well, he comes across the car of a serial thief who has caused a lot of trouble in the town. GI Ju-bong, who has been acting for over 50 years and was awarded Best Actor at the 2018 Locarno International Film Festival for his role in HOTEL BY THE RIVER, directed by HONG Sang-soo, plays the protagonist who becomes embroiled in the last car chase of his police career.
