재희는 남편 주용의 고향에 내려가 오래된 모텔을 운영하게 된다. 부부가 오기 전부터 모텔에서 일해 온 외국인 청소부 막심은 재희를 은근히 무시하는 듯 하고, 재희는 모텔 생활이 어딘가 불편하다.

A pregnant woman moves to a quiet rural town, her husband’s hometown, to run an old motel business. Maksim, a foreigner who has long worked as a janitor at the motel, seems condescending toward her. She feels somehow uncomfortable both in the motel and in the town.
