마지막 여름방학을 보내는 열세 살 예린은 차라리 혼이 나고 싶다. 매일 가족에게 혼나는 친구 건주가 부러운 이유는 단 하나, 분명한 가족의 관심이 있기 때문이다. 사랑을 확인하고 싶은 두 아이는 스스로를 납치하는 계획을 세우고 가출을 감행한다. 동화적인 상상의 세계를 통해 아이들의 성장을 그려온 이지원 감독의 신작으로 영화진흥위원회와 인천영상위원회의 제작지원을 받아 만들어졌다.

Thirteen-year-old Yerin, spending the last summer of her childhood, finds herself longing to be scolded. She envies Gunju, the girl next door who is the same age as her, for one reason alone: the constant scolding Gunju receives is a clear manifestation of her family’s attention. Desperate to confirm their families’ affection, the two girls embark on a bold adventure.

This is the latest work from director LEE Ji-won, who has explored the theme of coming-of-age through a lens of fairytale imagination. The film was produced with the support of the Korean Film Council (KOFIC) and the Incheon Film Commission.
